BRP’s single-piece Coolant Bypass Tube is designed for compatible Cummins 871, 2250, 2350, and X15 applications. It replaces the two-piece coolant transfer tube associated with part numbers 4367122 and 5575183. The product is used primarily in marine applications and may also suit other approved heavy-duty configurations when compatibility is confirmed by Big Rig Power before ordering.

Combining Function & Utility
The BRP Coolant Bypass Tube transfers coolant from the water pump to the rear of the engine block as part of the engine’s cooling system. It is designed primarily for compatible marine applications and may also be suitable for other approved heavy-duty configurations. Fitment depends on the engine platform, water-pump configuration, chassis, available installation space, and operating requirements.
The mounting tabs are now thicker and feature elongated bore holes, replacing the slotted design for increased stability and strength.
Kit Components and Custom Finish Options
The BRP Coolant Bypass Tube is supplied with a durable powder-coated finish in standard red or black. Custom finish colours may be available for an additional charge, subject to availability and extended lead times.
The kit includes the coolant bypass tube, two O-rings, and one moulded seal. Big Rig Power confirms application compatibility before finalizing the order.

Installation Prerequisites
Installation requires the updated Cummins water pump. Review the Cummins service bulletin dated March 22, 2017, and confirm the engine and water-pump configuration with Big Rig Power before ordering.
International/Freightliner Chassis: Due to the configuration of the water-pump inlet pipe on certain International and Freightliner chassis, this coolant bypass tube may not be compatible with every application. Contact Big Rig Power to confirm fitment before ordering.
871 Engine Applications: Some Cummins 871 engine configurations require the Cummins Rear Water Transfer Connector for proper installation. Our team can confirm whether this applies to your engine.
